Question: What is the cost of a cemetery tour?

Answer: Tours are $35.00 per person for the day tour and it lasts 2 1/2 hours long. You can pay cash or you can book online. Note-There is an additional $1.00 service charge to book online. Night tours are $85.00 per person.

 

Question: Are reservations required?

Answer: Advance reservations are preferred. Due to the pandemic, I really try to keep the groups within a certain size and it helps to have a head count.

 

Question: Where is the cemetery located?

Answer: The cemetery is located at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90038. See Mapquest for more detailed information. Gower is the nearest major cross street. 

Question: Where do I park?

Answer: You can park inside the cemetery grounds. Please check with the security guards and they will tell you where to park. Obviously those planning or attending a funeral service are given preferred parking.

 

Question: Will you do the tour if it is raining?

Answer: Yes. The tours are given rain or shine.

Question: Can you do tours by private appointment?

Answer: Yes. Please call or email me to discuss. Large party private tours can also be booked during the week.

Question: Can I just visit the cemetery on my own?

Answer: Yes. The cemetery is open 7 days a week from 8:30am - 5:30pm and visitors are welcome. You can also purchase a map for $6.00 in the flower shop. 

Question: Can we take photos?

Answer: Photos are permitted, but only of famous graves and only for personal use. Video is strictly prohibited by cemetery management.

 

Question: Can you do tours at night?

Answer: Yes. I am now offering a night tour. The dates and times are posted on the home page usually a week or two in advance. The night tours are on a more limited basis.

Question: Can you help me with tickets or information about movies and concerts at the cemetery?

Answer: No. The tour is a separate entity.

 

Question: Can I do a film shoot in the cemetery?

Answer: You will need formal permission from the cemetery management. They also charge location fees. Please call 323-469-1181.
